Mellowsound is a remarkable emulation of a legendary keyboard sampler from the 1960s known as The Mellotron. This iconic instrument has been used by renowned artists such as The Beatles, King Crimson, and Radiohead, to name just a few. While you may not recognize the name of this instrument, the melodies it creates are truly mythical.

We are fortunate enough to own a Mellotron M400, and we are excited to share its unique sound with you through Mellowsound. We meticulously sampled each note from our beloved Mellotron, ensuring professional audio quality at 16-bit/44kHz. With Mellowsound, you can now play the Mellotron wherever you go, allowing you to carry a vintage orchestra in your pocket!

To pay homage to our cherished Mellotron, we designed a smooth and photo-realistic user interface that captures its essence.

The free version of Mellowsound includes three instruments: Flute, Clarinet, and Saxophone. To unlock the full potential of Mellowsound, you can purchase the "Full Version" in-app purchase, which grants access to all 18 instruments, including Electric Guitar, Vibraphone, Sad Strings, Piano, Choirs, and more. Additionally, the free version includes Audio Unit Extension support.
